Dates: Mar 13, 2021
Times:9:30 am - 3:30 pm

Psychodrama is a 3-phase action method (warm up, action, and sharing) that is used to explore our inner and outer worlds and bring change where needed. Participants gain insight through action by exploring old patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are no longer working for them, and experiment with new, more effective responses to people and situations in their lives.

This Introduction to Psychodrama workshop – for professionals only – will provide participants the opportunity to participate in a full psychodrama – warm up, action and sharing.  The psychodrama will be followed by teaching on the nuts and bolts of directing the psychodrama, and provide teaching on a number of the following topics:

Effective group warm ups
Choosing a protagonist
Setting the scene and bringing in the role players
Facilitating catharsis
Role training the protagonist towards new behaviors
Ending the drama
Sharing and closure

Limited to 12 participants, so please register early!
