Dates: Jun 25, 2022 - Jun 26, 2022
Times:9:30 am - 5:00 pm
Actions speak louder than words, and adding experiential techniques to your clinical work can help clients to identify, understand and resolve internal and external conflicts more efficiently and effectively. By bringing issues to life, and implementing greater somatic awareness and attunement, clients can be helped to better engage in the therapeutic process, deepen affect, and move towards greater life satisfaction through role training new behaviors.
In this weekend workshop – for helping professionals only – practitioners will learn specific experiential techniques, including sociometry and psychodrama, and will have the opportunity to practice new skills, with guidance, so that they can easily apply them in their clinical setting. This group can also serve as a safe and supportive place for professionals to do their own personal healing work.
DATE, TIME AND LOCATION:
Saturday and Sunday, June 25-26, 2022
9:30 am – 5:00 pm each day
Due to the on-going Covid-19 crisis, until further notice all in person workshops with BraveHeart Retreats are open to fully vaccinated (including a booster shot if it has been 6 months since your last vaccine) individuals only. Proof of vaccination is required before group begins. Participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes early each day as we will be conducting rapid antigen testing. If anyone either tests positive for Covid-19 or has illness symptoms, we ask that you not return for the remainder of the workshop and a credit will be given towards a future workshop for time missed. Specifics on testing and any potential related cost will be communicated a week or two prior to the workshop as it is based upon availability. Mask requirements will be dependent on local ordinance and communicated prior to group.
If you are in recovery, it is required that you have at least one year of continuous time in order to attend this workshop.
