Actions speak louder than words, and adding experiential techniques to your clinical work can help clients to identify, understand, and resolve internal and external conflicts more efficiently and effectively. By bringing issues to life, and implementing greater somatic awareness and attunement, clients can be helped to better engage in the therapeutic process, deepen affect, and move towards greater life satisfaction through role training new behaviors.
In this one-day in person workshop – for helping professionals only – practitioners will learn specific experiential techniques, including sociometry and psychodrama, and will have the opportunity to practice new skills, with guidance, so that they can easily apply them in their clinical setting. This group can also serve as a safe and supportive place for professionals to do their own personal healing work.

Due to the on-going Covid-19 crisis, until further notice all in person workshops with BraveHeart Retreats are open to fully vaccinated individuals only. Proof of vaccination is required before group begins. Participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes early each day as we will be conducting rapid antigen testing. If anyone either tests positive for Covid-19 or has illness symptoms, we ask that you not return for the remainder of the workshop and a credit will be given towards a future workshop for time missed. Specifics on testing and any potential related cost will be communicated a week or two prior to the workshop as it is based upon availability. Mask requirements will be dependent on local ordinance and communicated prior to group.
Substance Use Policy
If you are in recovery, you must have at least 1 year of continuous time. In addition, because personal work is frequently addressed in our trainings, it is required that all participants abstain from alcohol and non prescribed substances for the duration of this training as well as the 24 hours prior to workshop commencement. This will aid in being present for the personal work and learning.
