Being in a relationship with someone with narcissistic traits comes with a rollercoaster of emotions — not the least of which are hurt feelings, frustration, disbelief, and even questioning your own sanity.
Nothing the person says or does is consistent. They are caring and charming one moment, devaluing and spiteful the next. They will express one thing, and then do another. When you confront them with these discrepancies, they blame you, claiming you are the crazy one. And at times, it is easy to believe them.
Let’s Refocus — on You!
Recuperating from a narcissistic relationship is complex, and typically takes much longer to resolve than ending a so- called “normal relationship.” After walking on eggshells for years, it takes time for your nervous system to normalize, to regain your psychological and bodily strength, and to rebuild your self-worth and a sense of who you are.
This workshop for women who are healing from being in a relationship with a narcissist supports you on your path of: understanding what you’ve experienced, helping you move beyond your anguish, and ultimately, rebuilding your life to become an even stronger and more resilient version of who you were intended to be.
This workshop is for all cis and trans women as well as non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centers the unique experiences of women.

Due to the on-going Covid-19 crisis, until further notice all in person workshops with BraveHeart Retreats are open to fully vaccinated individuals only. Proof of vaccination is required before group begins. Participants are asked to bring rapid Covid tests each day of the workshop and to arrive 30 minutes in advance of group to take the test before we start the workshop. If you are unable to bring your own tests, please email email@example.com at least 2 weeks before the start of the workshop. If anyone either tests positive for Covid-19 or has illness symptoms, we ask that you not return for the remainder of the workshop and a credit will be given towards a future workshop for time missed.
If there is reason to believe it is a false positive (which studies show are rare), you can get a PCR test and may be allowed to return to the workshop with:
– a negative test
– no symptoms
– a willingness to wear a medical grade mask (N-95, KN-95, KF-94, or surgical)
– other group participants feeling comfortable with this
General mask requirements for the workshop will be dependent on local ordinance and communicated prior to group.
There are no continuing education credits available for this workshop, as it is for personal growth not training.
Substance Use Policy:
If you are in recovery, you must have at least 1 year of continuous time. In addition, because substances can interfere with personal work, it is required that all participants abstain from alcohol and non prescribed substances for the duration of this training as well as the 48 hours prior to workshop commencement. This will aid in being present for the personal work and learning.
