Ethical Considerations
When Utilizing Psychodrama Webinar

Dates: Jun 23, 2020
Times:12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

This course meets 2 hours of the 6-hour ethics recertification requirement for California LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCCs, LEPs, and CCAPP

Utilizing Psychodrama can bring a whole host of additional ethical challenges to our clinical work, including the possibility of utilizing touch, re-enacting traumatic experiences and issues of confidentiality when working with groups vs. individuals.  In this online workshop – co-sponsored by BraveHeart Retreats and Action Institute of California – we will utilize an action exploration approach to explore ethical issues specific to facilitating Psychodrama.

Drawing upon the wisdom and diverse perspectives of the group members, we will build a safe container that can support transparency and a sense of mutual support. We will use our own learning opportunities to role play ethical choices, and use other action methods to help explore solutions that best serve our clients.
