Join Dr. Jim Tracy and Jean Campbell for a free webinar – co-sponsored by BraveHeart Retreats and Action Institute of California – as we explore the importance of providing family members and friends impacted by the disease of addiction a deeper understanding of the systemic nature of the illness, and how their efforts to help can sometimes lead to the problem getting worse.

Through education and group exercises, participants will have a deeper understanding of how to warm up a family to change, and motivate them to pursue their own recovery from enabling, therefore, providing a better chance for the entire family system to heal.

PRESENTERS:
Jean Campbell, LCSW, SEP, CPC, TEP has been bringing groups of people together to heal for more than 24 years. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Board Certified Trainer and Practitioner of Psychodrama and Sociometry, a Certified Professional Coach, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, a Practitioner and Trainer of Psychodramatic Bodywork® and earned a Certificate in Positive Psychology.  She specializes in trauma reorganization, somatic psychotherapy and addiction/codependency recovery by providing Ongoing Psychodrama Training Groups, Personal Growth Workshops and Intensives, and Leadership Retreats.  Jean is committed to supporting helping professionals, creating safe spaces for healing and growth and trusts that what we can’t do alone, we can do together.

Dr. James (Jim) Tracy, DDS, LMFT, LAADC, CET2, CIP, CP, PAT, is a Licensed Marriage  and Family Therapist, a Board Certified Sociometrist and Psychodramatist, a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a Master’s Level Experiential Therapist. He was the founder and Vice President of the Betty Ford Center’s Licensed Professions Program.Jim is a nationally recognized expert, speaker and educator on addiction, interventions, chronic pain,family treatment and impaired healthcare professionals, and has been conducting professional and family invitational interventions for over 20 years.Jim utilizes experiential, psychodramatic and sociometric
methods in his clinical work, and has consulted and developed family programs for some of
the top addiction treatment centers in the US.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:
Course meets the qualifications for a total of 1 hour of continuing education credit for California LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs.CAMFT approved CE Provider #123417. Provider approved by CCAPP-EI, Provider Number 2N-10-135-0222 for 1 CEH. Approved for 1 CEH for Psychodrama and for Experiential Professionals (ISEP).

Participants must attend the full online course to receive CE credit. including signing in in the chat box when arriving – with name and email address – and then signing out when leaving. In addition, to ensure that CE recipients are present for the entire training, video must remain on for the duration of the training.

After course completion, an evaluation form will be sent to each participant via email, and upon return of that evaluation form, a continuing education certificate will be emailed.
