Dates: Sep 23, 2022 - Sep 25, 2022
Times:9:30 am - 5:00 pm
Sometimes it’s really hard to keep our hearts open.
So many things have the potential to shut them down: trauma, neglect, abandonment, loss. Between work stressors, family difficulties, health concerns, and things from our past coming back up, life has been hard. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with feelings and lose our sense of self. Many of us pour attention into the people around us at the expense of our own needs, and the truth is, we are struggling inside and having trouble holding on to hope.
In our BraveHearted Living Personal Growth Workshop, we co-create an environment of mutual support and safety, and use creative arts therapies such as psychodrama, sociometry, art making, and music to explore our inner and outer worlds. Together, we can acknowledge the shifts we’ve experienced, and step into our resilience, so we can each find a new sense of being and create a vision for the future. We can help you shine a light on your possibilities, breathe new life into your spirit, and help you step (back) into your BraveHearted self.

Due to the on-going Covid-19 crisis, until further notice all in person workshops with BraveHeart Retreats are open to vaccinated individuals only. Proof of vaccination is required before group begins. Participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes early each day as we will be conducting rapid antigen testing. If anyone either tests positive for Covid-19 or has illness symptoms, we ask that you not return for the remainder of the workshop and a credit will be given towards a future workshop for time missed. Specifics on testing and any potential related cost will be communicated a week or two prior to the workshop as it is based upon availability. Mask requirements will be dependent on local ordinance and communicated prior to group.
There are no continuing education credits available for this workshop, as it is for personal growth, not training.
Substance Use Policy
If you are in recovery, you must have at least 1 year of continuous recovery to participate. In addition, because personal work is frequently addressed in our trainings, it is required that all participants abstain from alcohol and non- prescribed substances for the duration of this training as well as the 24 hours prior to workshop commencement. This will aid in being present for the personal work and learning.
