Dates: Jun 23, 2023 - Jun 25, 2023
Times:9:30 am - 5:00 pm
Sometimes it’s really hard to keep our hearts open.
So many things have the potential to shut them down: trauma, neglect, abandonment, fear, and loss. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with feelings and lose our sense of self. Many of us pour attention into the people around us at the expense of our own needs.
In our BraveHearted Living workshops we take great care to create an environment of mutual support and safety. This allows each of us to feel into our hearts, and take the risk to keep them open — or reopen them — so we can tap into the possibilities of joy, abundance, and love, which in turn allows us to remain hopeful. We can learn or reconnect with what we are truly longing for, lean into our heart’s desire, and move forward.
In this workshop we’ll use creative arts therapies such as psychodrama, sociometry, art making, and music to explore your inner and outer worlds and help you clear away what is no longer working, so you can (re)build your sense of self-worth and self-compassion. This allows you to embrace all of who you are and all of who you can be.
Call us today to learn more about how we can help you shine a light on your possibilities, breathe new life into your spirit, and help you step into your BraveHearted self.

Due to the on-going Covid-19 crisis, until further notice all in person workshops with BraveHeart Retreats are open to fully vaccinated individuals only. Proof of vaccination is required before group begins. Participants are asked to bring rapid Covid tests each day of the workshop and to arrive at 9am to take the test before we start the workshop at 9:30am. If you are unable to bring your own tests, please email email@example.com at least 2 weeks before the start of the workshop. If anyone either tests positive for Covid-19 or has illness symptoms, we ask that you not return for the remainder of the workshop and a credit will be given towards a future workshop for time missed.
If there is reason to believe it is a false positive (which studies show are rare), you can get a PCR test and may be allowed to return to the workshop with:
- a negative test
- no symptoms
- a willingness to wear a medical grade mask (N-95, KN-95, KF-94, or surgical)
- other group participants feel comfortable with this.
General mask requirements for the workshop will be dependent on local ordinance and communicated prior to group.
Substance Use Policy
Since substances can be used to avoid or mask feelings, we require 14 days of abstinence (leading up to and during the workshop) from non prescribed, mind altering substances in order to start your warm up to the workshop. This requirement is for all participants, regardless of if they have a history of substance abuse or not. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Please note: There are no CEs available for this workshop, as it is for personal growth not training.
