Dates: Jan 22, 2022 - Jan 23, 2022
Times:9:30 am - 5:00 pm
So many things have the potential to shut them down: trauma, neglect, abandonment, loss. And as this pandemic rages on, many of us have never worked harder. We are overwhelmed with our own feelings, while also carrying our clients’ feelings, and are struggling to hold on to our sense of self. Many of us in the helping profession put up a good facade — sometimes we have to for our work— but the truth is, we’re burning out and having trouble holding on to hope. We need a safe place to put down our professional role and tell the truth about how we’re really doing.
In this in-person workshop — for helping professionals only — we will co-create an environment of mutual support and safety, and use creative arts therapies such as psychodrama, sociometry, art making, and music to explore our inner and outer worlds. Together, we will acknowledge the shifts we’ve experienced, and step into our resilience, so we can each find a new sense of being and create a vision for the future. We can help you shine a light on your possibilities, breathe new life into your spirit, and help you step (back) into your BraveHearted self.
