The role of Clinical Director includes unique challenges: maintaining clinical quality of care, tending to clients, managing a team, coordinating with operations, and setting clear boundaries to ensure their own self-care. On top of all of that, Clinical Directors often struggle to ensure clinical integrity while balancing decisions with what is in the best interest of the business.
Juggling all this is extraordinarily challenging, especially because many Clinical Directors are promoted to the position with little or no managerial experience, and find the most difficult part of their job is dealing with personalities rather than principles which, if left unaddressed, can bleed into the quality of care.
In this bi-monthly Consultation Group, we will co-create a safe and supportive environment for Clinical Directors to find guidance for clinical, staff and management challenges, and feel empowered to step into their best possible selves at work.
TOPICS WILL INCLUDE;
Overseeing quality of care
Managing and supporting staff
Liaising between staff and management
Balancing self-care with work
Commitment for 3 consecutive groups required to join
A personal interview with our CEO, Jean Campbell, LCSW, TEP, is required before registering.
