Despite all our training, helping professinals often miss the subtle signs and symptoms of fear and dissociation in our clients.  Being a Body-Wise Therapist means increasing somatic awareness in the therapeutic process – in the client and in ourselves.  Without this awareness, clients are often in their heads and can’t fully integrate the healing work that is being offered in treatment.  In this didactic and experiential workshop, participants will be encouraged to build capacity in their clients – and in themselves – to tolerate feelings, better recognize fear and dissociation and stay more present for their own healing and recovery.

Course qualifies for 2 hours of Continuing Education Credit with the California BBS, CCAPP, and Certified Experiential Therapy through ISEP.
